What's going on in this picture? We're at a Sunday picnic with friends at the Botanic gardens… Unfortunately Son’s mood was, well, rather like the sun- not all that shiny! Pleasant enough though. Especially on his walk with dad where Son enjoyed chatting to the red flowers and was decidedly pleased in the orchid house.
Joeleen’s quiche was sublime, Ralph’s fish cakes were better than Goldie’s, and with my yellow (millie), green (celery) and red (tomato, pepper and chillie) salad as an accompaniment, we ate heartily.
I look forward to doing it again. Maybe next time Son can try playing a bit of frisby- Dad and the boys are always up for a game and it seems to make them happy!
