So long and thank for all the fish

An unfortunate event occurred this morning when moving the tank to a shadier, less in-the-way place. We emptied all the litres of water, all the rocks, gravel and fish of course, then carried the tank to the vicinity of its new home. On resting the tank upon a counter, its base cracked from corner to corner.

We were in denial at first, but when all the gravel and rocks were back in the tank and water was leaking all over the floor, we knew this was no longer a suitable home for the boys and phoned the fish shop. They offered us a store credit in exchange for the fish but we took the cash- no pet is safe with us- we can't even keep our pool blue.























There are two types of people in this world; those with fish tanks and those without. We have just changed class, as Robbie puts it.
