Holiday time is playdate time. Cousins, Max, Rachel, Erryn, Jade, Danielle, Ari, Shai and Ivy have all been over to play. Almost every morning we have little feet running through the house and the garden then sometimes a fresh set of feet come to get dirty in the afternoon. Son's new big boy bike has been a hit, the jungle gym always has a moment of glory and the train tracks in Son's room have provided hours of constructive, imaginative play. Lot's of children, lot's of fun and thankfully, very few tears.
Miks loves all the activity and is game for everything- trailing behind the big kids as they do laps around the garden, getting a hand in to mix muffin mixture before it goes into the oven or growling the loudest in a game of monster-monster, even if she doesn't land up with one of the props like a plastic claw or a sword.
We leave for the berg soon, back on Monday, and then school starts up again on Wednesday. It's amazing how quickly the three week holiday is going.
(I have such cute photos which I wanted to post here but they aren't loading and I gotta get going. Will try again when time allows)
xx

too right, time has flown! i have, suprisingly, loved school holidays-having Zack home and jolling around and about with us. The only difficulty is how bad he is with goodbyes. this makes leaving the house in the mornings VEEEERY hard. Lots of screaming, leg holding and general mayhem. Having school back in session will definitely help our morning cause.
