Lekker long weekend with cool little cousins at the family cottage in the mountains. Usual outings included Duck and Spoors for milkshakes and animal gazing and Underberg Cheesery to stock up on interesting cheeses and drinking yogurt. We also always enjoy a coffee at the Lemon Tree and browsing at its neighbouring kitchenware store, the book store in the village and a walk to Himeville Arms for an afternoon hot chocolate. The kids had their bikes and enjoyed scooting along the potted streets to the dam or just flying down the garden embankment. All biking excursions were ride, carry, ride, carry events, with adults doing the carrying- sometimes one adult to three, maybe four, bikes.
