Son is 14 months old today
His favourite words are CAR and GOAL
He is good with words of caution too: HOT and NO (which he likes to repeat in a sing-song fashion with finger pointed at offending object and hands twirling in the air like a conductor)
Roaring, woofing, meowing, oinking (pronounced ghgh ghgh ghgh), hissing and buzzing are all part of his growing arsenal of sounds.
He is still particular about what he will eat, favouring provita, peeled apple and raisins over just about anything. Except granny Bess's macaroni cheese!
He loves books especially the Zulu one which Fikile reads to him and mom sometimes tries. Other than that he enjoys Spot, Dirty Birty, Hairy Mclairy, Hooray For Fish, Dog Loves Books and SOOOOOO many others. Hopefully all our reading to him will mean one day he'll read for hours on end all by himself! For now, it's hard to refuse him- even at 4:30 on a Saturday morning!
